Kasia is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is registered with The Health Professions Council (HPC) as a counselling psychologist and accredited as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist by The British Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP), which is the UK’s leading body for the promotion of cognitive and behavioural psychotherapy.
As a coaching psychologist she is accredited by the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP)
Kasia is also a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EDMR) practitioner. Often applied in combination with cognitive behavioural therapy this approach is commonly used to help individuals who have experienced traumatic incidents such as car accidents or assault.
As psychologist and psychotherapist Kasia has over 20 years’ experience. She has worked in the NHS as a psychotherapist. More recently, as a senior lecturer in a London University, Kasia has trained post graduate students in counselling skills and the application of cognitive behaviour therapy. She also has experience as a trainer and supervisor for alcohol and drug projects in London.
Currently she works in central and west London. In addition, she is an Associate Director of the Centre for Stress Management where she runs certificate courses in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She is also the Director of Distance Learning at the Centre for Coaching and Centre for Stress Management.
Kasia is also a Director of the International Academy for Professional Development (IAPD) which provides professional development programmes for individuals, delivered through tailored distance learning.
